Hello, Jeff Cave here with Parent Placement Solutions and wanted to take the opportunity to talk with you a few minutes. I started Parent Placement Solutions now four years to find the right residential care. That could be a large place, large community, could be a boarding care, memory care, sometimes even independent living. A lot of families will wonder like, “Well, how can this possibly be free?” What we do is help them through the process, go through paperwork that’s needed for licensing and then we’re going to assess their loved one. At the end of the day, we go on tours, we see places I go with the families and then the families themselves will circle up and make a determination as to where they want their loved one to move to.

And things go well, I will then bill a one-time fee to that community that the family chose. But 95% of the time there is a physical need or a cognitive need for them to be placed for their safety or for their care. A great example that I just had about a month ago was a daughter who was this close to not calling us to help her out because she really felt like there’s got to be a catch, there’s got to be some sort of a fee. But she did call and we were able to talk through, we walked through everything. I was able to get an assessment of what would be good fits for mom, what are some openings, getting used to the new environment for the mom. But at the end of the day, I then build the facility they chose a one-time fee.
